With the access to Munich Re group’s network, its expertise and capacities, sfr-consulting is the ideal partner for development finance institutions, donors and other partners.

One Acre Fund is a nonprofit organization working with more than 500 000 smallholder farmers, providing them with a bundle of goods and services to grow their way out from hunger. The goal is to responsibly serve more farmers, contributing to the reduction of food insecurity and poverty. To support this ambition, sfr-consulting structured a comprehensive credit insurance solution for the business of One Acre Fund in Kenya and Zambia.

The European Investment Bank is considered one of the world’s largest multilateral borrower and lender. Along with sfr- consulting, ATI and Munich Re, the EIB works in the development of the African Energy Guarantee Facility (AEGF) which will provide significant long- term investment insurance for sustainable energy projects in Sub-Sahara Africa.

ATI is a pan-African institution that provides credit and political risk insurance to companies, investors, and lenders interested in doing business in Africa. ATI is one of the partners of sfr- consulting in the development of the AEGF platform, acting as a primary insurance company to help mitigate the risk of sustainable energy projects in Sub-Sahara Africa.

The European Commission is the executive and legislative body on the European Parliament and the Council of the EU. The European Commission supports with EU funding the African Energy Guarantee Facility and its expansion.

The German Corporation for International Cooperation is an agency of the German Government specialized in technical cooperation for sustainable development throughout the world. Together with sfr-consulting, GIZ is working on an innovative FinTech and cross border solution to finance sustainable projects in developing countries.

The International Finance Corporation is the largest global development institution focused exclusively on the private sector in developing countries. IFC and sfr- consulting work together in the development of a rain sensor added to photovoltaic panels which provides data that can offer financial protection against drought and excess of rainfall.
